  • The MindSpot Clinic provides free online assessment and treatment for anxiety and depression
  • This Way Up runs online courses including coping with stress, depression, anxiety, PTSD, obsessions and/or compulsion, panic, social phobia, chronic pain and mindfulness

Young carers

Young carers can use any of the services and resources available for all carers. There are also resources and services specifically for young carers:

  • ids Helpline provides information and counselling (call 1800 551 800
  • eheadspace provides online and telephone support and counselling to young people aged 12–25 and their families and friends (call 1800 650 890)
  • ReachOut provides information for young people and their families who are experiencing a difficult time, and has a forum to talk with other similar people
  • Children of Parents with a Mental Illness has information and videos for children and teenagers who have a parent with a mental illness
